Strengthening Families
Ms. Ruscio grew up in South Dakota and has lived in the Denver-Metro area since 1973. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Denver and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Ms. Ruscio has been married for 25 years and is the mother of an adult child and a stepparent to two grown children. Theresa has worked as a clinician on child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit, and has supervised master level interns training to become therapists, along with running a school based counseling program and an in-home therapy program through Catholic Charities. Additionally, Ms. Ruscio was a Clinical Supervisor in a Boys Residential Treatment Facility.

Ms. Ruscio is a licensed
clinical social worker and is a certified drug and alcohol counselor
(CACIII). She trained at St. Joseph's Hospital Adult
Psychiatric Unit and at The Children's Hospital in the outpatient
behavior health clinic, Child Day Treatment program, and the Adolescent Psychiatric
Unit.
